My wife thought we would never have a wedding with our families involved.
When our relationship begun, we faced so many challenges that my wife lost the picture of her dad walking her down the isle. I kept on playing the right movies in my head and I also fed her with the right words that framed her thought and gave her the right mental pictures because I learned that “it takes a thought to heal a thought” I told her “never lose sight of your father walking you down the isle”.
What you think, the images you play in your mind, really do affect the outcome of your process.

During our process, the devil painted a very negative image of me in the heart of my in-laws, to prevent me from marrying my wife. But God told me something very powerful, he said that a property does not fight for itself, it doesn’t even have the capacity to do that, it is the responsibility of the owner of the property to fight for his property. Then He said to me “YOU ARE MY PROPERTY”

Now here is my testimony, I have heard that prayer changes things, but I have seen personally, first hand, that prayer has the capacity to influence the will of men and what they think about you. Prayer can turn the heart of men towards you, prayer can create an atmosphere of favour around you that men can not ignore even when their hearts have been poisoned against you by people.

After this encounter I told myself I would not defend myself or try to protect my image, I would handle it in prayers and let God fight my battle. I knew if I prayed he will either bring me out, show me a way of escape or give me wisdom to go about it.

Look at how beautiful we look together, this was what the devil was trying to stop.
