TOTAL TRANSFORMATION 1

Text: “And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.”Gen 42:8

I want to welcome you to another month and another series of life transforming words. Fasten your seat belts as we go on another Holy Ghost inspired adventure in the word.

Joseph left home over a decade ago. His cloth of many colours were torn and soaked in the blood of an animal to disguise his death. He was sold like an animal into Egypt. The last time his brothers saw him there was nothing special about him. Several years later they saw him but could not recognise him. The transformation was so much that they could not recognise him. If his case had grown worse its possible they would have recognised him. Here was Joseph now a governor over the most powerful nation at that time. The last time his brothers saw him there was no cloths on his back perhaps; but now he was dressed in royal apparel. Several years ago there was a rope on his neck so he will not escape now he was having a golden chain on his neck. Several years back he was walking bear footed now he rides in the best chariots in the land.

The transformation is as heaven is above the earth. It was a total transformation. The same dimension of transformation is available for us as we diligently and wholeheartedly follow God. A genuine encounter with God does not leave a man or woman on the same spot or level. One major secret to this total transformation in the life of Joseph is what the book of psalms revealed to us years down the line. Ps 105:19 says “Until the time his word came; the word of the Lord tried him.” This was all that led to the series of the transformations in the life of Joseph. I strongly believe that a transformation is taking place in the life of someone this month as you apply your heart to God’s word in this material.

PRAYER:

Lord I declare that your word is working in me by changing me from glory to glory.
