(Potency of the Blood)
Exodus 12:13
And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
Welcome to an amazing day. Today, God will visit your household with a befitting miracle!!!
We’ve been handling teaching on the series “Why the Blood?”
We’ve learnt that the Blood:
-Is the basis for our justification
-Is bigger than the cross
-Is Life
-Speaks etc
The blood of Jesus is very potent and powerful. The Blood of Jesus turns a armed robber into a Preacher; a cultist into an Evangelist; a harlot into a prophet.
The Blood doesn’t discriminate.
The Gospel doesn’t discriminate.
The blood is for all, for everyone who will believe.
The plague in the land of Egypt didn’t harm all the Egyptians. There were many Egyptians who escaped the plagues that happened.
Exodus 9:20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:
Their properties were safe.
Also, many of the Egyptians went with the Israelites out of Egypt.
This may also mean that the death of the firstborns didn’t touch their own families.
Exodus 12vs38.
As many families that had the blood put qon their doorposts, they were saved, whether Israel or Egypt.
Obedience to that instruction brought safety to whoever that obeyed.
The Blood of Jesus is potent and the potency cuts across races.
It cuts across tribes, races, ethnicity, nations.
Some people they are the custodians of Jesus and that there are certain ones who are not qualified for Divine mercy.
They segregate and discriminate.
You don’t know God, not at all!!!
Then there are ones who think they are not qualified to approach God and don’t deserve any mercy from Him, due to their past and what they’ve done.
The Blood doesn’t discriminate. It is because of that your stinking, bad, rugged past that the Blood was shed.
“There’s no sin the Blood of Jesus cannot cleanse”
“There’s no mistake the Blood of Jesus cannot erase”
He can give you a brand new start today, a new nature.
Only believe and come to Him the way you are.
He doesn’t want you to be clean before coming. The Blood is what will cleanse you.
