Why the Blood? Vol 2
Hebrews 9:22
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Welcome to the second teaching on this series. God started with us on a very good note.
I’ve received good reports and feedbacks about yesterday’s devotional. We bless God!!!
Like I said yesterday, there is a reason God chose the Blood-way.
Jesus could have just died, maybe from sleep like humans do.
He could have been strangled to death, beaten with a cub or drowned in a river.
By all these means, He will still die but without shedding any blood.
But why was the shedding of the Blood very important, significant, indispensable and unsubstitutional in the salvation of man?
I’ll show you scriptures this morning!!!
Ready?
1. *”Jesus said this about Himself. The Blood is shed for remission of sins.”*
Matthew 26:28: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
2. *”The Blood is the basis of the Faith”*
Romans 3:25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
3. *”Redemption is through His Blood”*
Ephesians 1:7: In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
4. *”The Blood guarantees forgiveness”*
Colossians 1:14: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Therefore, the Blood of Jesus is not something you use and cover the driver, vehicle, tyres and the road when traveling.
It is something you give your children to drink so that they won’t die.
The Blood has a more superior task and responsibilities.
The salvation of man, forgiveness of sin, justification are all by the Blood.
If Jesus had died another way, the effect won’t be the same. *”The Blood-way is the only way!!!”*

First of all, this Blood saved us. If not for the Blood, man would have been under the damnation of the devil eternally.
This Blood ensured our translation from darkness to Light.

The Blood of Jesus is potent enough to clean you no matter what you have done.
This Blood makes the worst sinner a saint in a split second, just by confessing your sins and having Faith in Jesus Christ.
(Just bow your head and make a very simple prayer, inviting Jesus into your heart)

-The Blood of Jesus washes whiter than snow.
-The Blood purifies and makes clean.
-The Blood sanctified and cleanses
Whenever I remember what it took Him to save me, the shedding of the Blood, the pains, the agony at Gethsemane, the tears at Calvary etc…
It drives me into:
-Living for Him each day
-Dedicating my life to His Service
-Preaching the Gospel with passion
-Going after the lost souls through evangelism
-Praying for sinners to encounter Jesus.
