Christianity is not a way of life. It is not a culture. It is the very life of God. The zoe.
It is God in man and man in God. The two are inseparable.
In Christ we do not have a double stance. It is either you are a Christian or you are not. It is either you are spiritual or you are not. It is either you are godly or you are not.
In Christ we only have one nature and that is the nature of Christ. This is why the bible says he that hath the son CANNOT SIN; this is because the nature of the son is pure and holy.
This is why Paul wrote, ‘now let us go over to maturity….’
In another entry, the bible says COME UP HITHER!
Yet in another stance Paul says, imitate me, follow me as I follow Christ.
We have all been called to be like Jesus, because we are joint heirs; co-heirs, and this means that we are the Jesus people around us should see.
This is why the bible says in 2 corinthians 3:18
“Nothing between us and God, our faces shinning with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him”. (MSG)
This is our reality
Just as a man is intimated with his wife, so it is in our walk with the father. Inseparable!
In God we can’t say we are males or females, we are gods!
We see, talk, walk, love, live, and look like him, we are no different entities. When people meet you, they should be able to tell that you are a CHRIST-ian.
One of the things that should be our desire, is to BE LIKE JESUS and not just doing big things for him.
Many a time, in our quest to DO, we miss out in the BE part.
However, until we BEHOLD, we CANNOT BECOME. For to them that BELIEVE, not to them that DO programs, giveaways, philanthropy, teach, write, sing etc, TO THEM THAT BELIEVE, HE GAVE THE POWER TO BECOME SONS OF GOD!
Your quest this month of Christmas should be to BECOME LIKE THE FATHER.. DON’T CROSS INTO 2022 WITHOUT KNOWING AND BECOMING LIKE JESUS.
WELCOME TO THE MONTH OF JESUS.
